Dylan

Dylan loves to help me cook. He loves spoons and to stir.Mom brought him over naked so he got one of my T-shirts to wear.

So I had my shoes laying around and Dylan decided to put them on. He walked so good in them it was funny.

Most Sunday morning Dylan comes over and plays while his mom gets ready for church. Usually Devin is still asleep and so we always make sure he gets up.

Dylan loves Devin so much. If Devin is in the room he is always right next to him. If Dylan needs a diaper change and Devin is in the room he makes sure Devin is the one to do it. Guess that is what Devin gets for being the favorite!

Kayden and Brody

Mary had brain surgery the first week of May and so I went and spent a day and watched her kids. It was so much fun. They are such fun and cute boys. So I am not very creative but wanted to do something fun with them. They both LOVE pizza so I had them make there very own. They had so much fun doing it. Brody kept licking the spoon that he was putting his sauce on with and Kayden kept eating the cheese:)

The finished product!

That next day Devin and I went and visited Mary. She was still not feeling very well but she is just so positive about everything. She had another hospital gown in the room and told me to put in on. So I did, don't know why?

Motocross

Devin, Justin, Kayden, and Kurt (Justin's brother) all went to Motocross when it came to Salt Lake. They had so much fun!! It was a very rainy day, there clothes and blanket were soaked when they got home. Mary and I were just glad we did not go instead we stayed home watched a chick flick and had some brownies ha ha.
Mary told them not to let Kayden have a Monster drink, do you think they listened?

Devin was so proud of the good/cheap seats he found

Brets Birthday

It was a hard day but a very fun day also. We all met at the cemetery and wrote on balloons that we then let go of so he could get them in heaven. It was so much fun. Most of the little kids drew pictures that the attached to the string of the balloon. It was cool to see all the balloons in the sky as we let go of them. After that we headed to my parents house were we had Bret's favorite foods. Yes most everything was something he would dip in Ranch.

We had rattle snake bites from Texas Road House, deep fried pickles, green olives, cheese sticks from Zubs, queso dip, hard boiled eggs, celery, carrots, Wingers Sticky Fingers, rice crispy bars, banana cream pie, truffle, mountain dew mini apple pies, mountain dew, and of course lots of RANCH!

It's only April

Can't believe that is is only April. What a year it has been!! I remember thinking on New Years Eve "2010 is going to be a good year." Well spiritually it has been the best year, I have learned so much and am so grateful for what I have, I am so blessed! There has been a lot of trial's that we have been through this year already but so many blessing have come from each one. I know that I have come closer to my Heavenly Father and I would not trade that for anything.
Well Monday afternoon I started having some cramping and thought oh well I guess its that time of the month. As the afternoon progressed the pain started getting stronger and higher in my stomach. I told Britney to call my sister in law Missy (who is a nurse) to help me figure out what the pain was. Devin got home from work around 5:30 and I had him give me a blessing. Britney and Devin convinced me to go to the doctors. I did not want to go. I was in a lot of pain but was so worried that it was something like gas pain or menstrual cramps. I did not want to have to spend money at the doctors for something stupid like that.
We went to the doctors and they took some blood which showed that my white blood cell count was elevated which is not a good sign. Because it was after hours they told me there was nothing they could do there but that I should go to the ER because I needed a CAT SCAN done. So now that we were trying to avoid a ER copay we have to pay the doctors office and the ER. Thank goodness for tax returns.
We went to the ER they had to put a IV in which took 3 people to do. I was in so much pain I didn't even care. They then started to do the CAT SCAN, the lady came back in and said that they could not see what they needed to so they would have to flush me with fluid. She told me they would do this through my IV and that they also had to give me a ENEMA!!! What the.. Can I just tell you that was the worst part of the whole thing. First they put this thing in your butt and tell you not to let if fall out. Then they start flushing you with fluid. It felt like me stomach and butt was on FIRE! Finally that was over and the doctor came in and said that me appendix was inflamed and that I was going in for surgery. I was so nervous, I have never had surgery, I have never been in the hospital. Last time I had one of the name bands on was when I was born. I wanted Devin to give me and blessing and wanted my dad to come down to help, but they were ready for the surgery. Good thing we live in Utah because the surgery tec overheard us and offered to help. I went in for surgery at midnight and everything went well. I only had to stay in the hospital till 12:00 noon the next day then I was release. You don't realize how much you use certain muscles until it hurts when you do. Example sitting up, laughing, coughing, sneezing, farting, pooping.
I am no suppose to lift much and not exercise for a while either. All I have been doing is laying in bed and people keep bringing me treats and ice cream. I am going to come out of this gaining 10lbs which sucks. You always think when your sick you should loss weight, not true.

Easter

Well it look more like Christmas this morning then it did Easter. My mother-in-law always does a egg hunt out in her back yard. This year it was out in the snow. Even though it was cold the kids still had fun and that is all that matters.

Neices & Nephews on the Blakey side. Dylan is to busy opening his candy to look at the camera

Here is Devs little shadow. He love him so much!! Whenever Devin leaves the room he starts yelling De de. It is so cute. He also loves wearing Devins hats expecially this black one.

Grandmas Birthday!!

Well this year for Grandmas birthdays the theme was "Easter Bonnets". It was pretty fun, like always. Mom, Britney, Mary, and I all made our hats together.

Grandma went and rented her hat from Hale Center Theater. I love how she gets into it.

Here are all of our beautiful hats.

The ribbon makes the hat

Well guess who made this cake? This is the reason Mary and I have not signed up for another cake class because we always get shown up by our dad. Well Grandma liked it to, she was about to not let us cut it.

Here is my moms cute cake! Its a sunflower (some people are just a little slow so I thought I would says what it is).
